I am not a big fan of the dentist but my three visits to Dr. Coates have exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff are genuinely friendly and personable. The girl who cleaned my teeth was gentle and inspired me to actually want to floss. I had 2 silver filling switched out last week and could not believe how quickly the Novocain wore off after I left and I was in and out in just 25 min. The prices are decent too, especially for not having dental insurance.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Coates and his staff today and it went exceptionally well.

+They have parking for the patients located directly behind the building.
+Front desk people were very friendly and nice. They work with you and your insurance.
+The hygenist I had was great. She made decent small talk and explained everything she was doing.
+Newest Technology. The X-rays pop up on the screen for you and the Dr. to see and all problem areas are highlighted on the screen in front of you as well.
+Dr. Coates acted as if I was a patient of his for the past 20 years. Good personality and willing to take time to explain problems and making a plan (long or short term) to fix it.

In addition to the newly remodeled office and updated modern equipment, the front office is run like a well-oiled machine. They will work with your insurance and their payment plans are flexible.

I have had a lot of work done on my teeth in the past year at Dr. Coates office: cleanings, x-rays, extractions, root canal, fillings, crowns...I'm a dental student's dream.

At my first visit we talked and set up a plan for the year to correct all the damage that was a result of years with no dental benefts. I'm almost done, I have 2 more visits for this year, and my teeth look great. I even floss (sometimes)!

At every visit, Dr. Coates was fantastic. You know that stinging sensation you get when you're injected with novacaine? I don't feel that when he does it. He's amazing.

He always made me feel welcome and took his time to explain the work recommended. His attention to every detail exceeded my expectations every time! That is not an easy thing to do, trust me! I had Dr. Coates veneer 14 of my teeth and I can’t begin to tell you what a difference it has made in my life. I can honestly tell you, it was the best investment that I have ever made!
